I am based in the North Brampton/Caledon region, and offer my services both in my home studio and on-sight all across the GTA. I also offer services for destination weddings. please inquire for pricing for destination weddings.

Do you offer makeup services?

What are your hours of operation?

I only offer my hair services Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday’s 4:00am to 10:00pm. Trial run through appointments are all in studio Monday, Friday and Sunday after 7:00pm.

How do I book my wedding with you?

Please feel free to either email or call me via the contact information on this site about your wedding day. I will need the details of your wedding including the number of people needing my services and the time you need to be ready for. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the quoted amount is required at the time of your booking to reserve your date.

How far in advance should I book?

If your wedding is on a Saturday, especially during the summer, I would call at least 6 months in advance.

What if I require a second stylist?

An extra stylist to assist will need to be arranged elsewhere as Bridal Hair Couture By Katie is not a TEAM of stylists, rather an individual artist who works solo.

How much time per person will you need on my wedding day?

Bride: 1 to 1 and a half hours maximum

Bridesmaids: 1 and a half hours maximum

Mother Of The Bride/Groom: 45 minutes maximum

Flower Girl: 30 minutes maximum

Will I need a trial?

Having a trial for your wedding hairstyle is essential not just to try out the style you have in mind, but to get to know me and my work before the big day. Trial runs are available from my studio only Monday’s, Friday’s and Sunday’s after 6pm. The appointment is a two hour session where you are free to try as many hairstyles as you’d like. Also, we are able to further discuss your wedding morning and the plans you have for the preparation process.

When should I book my trial?

It is best to book your hair trail appointment as soon as you contact me with your first inquiry. Usually 4 months; 2 month at the latest, is a sufficient amount of time to have your trial before your wedding.

How do I prepare for the appointment/s?

All you need to do to prepare for your appointment/s is to have your hair washed, condintoner free, dried and product free. I will do the rest!

What do you bring with you to on-sight appointments? Do I need to supply anything?

I bring along everything needed for your appointment in my my hair kit. All that is necessary for you to supply is simply a comfortable chair for you to sit, a power outlet close by and a mirror, if you have one available. If by chance you don’t have a mirror in the area we will be working, I can supply one of my own.

What are the benefits of hiring a professional to do my hair and makeup for my wedding?

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. Even if you think you can handle your own hair and makeup, I still suggest hiring a professional. A professional hair stylist who specializes in wedding hair will know how to create any look you desire, make the absolute most of your hair, make your style last all day and make your hair look good from every angle the camera captures. A professional makeup artist who specializes in wedding makeup will know how to apply your makeup so that it photographs well but also looks good in person, and so that it will last all day. On top of all of that, stressing about your hair and makeup on the day of your wedding is not something you’ll want to be doing. Leave the stressing up to someone else so you can relax!
